Amanda Dewitt

Amanda started her journey of holistic studies 11 yrs ago at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado, and continued her education at The International School of Body Work here in San Diego, where she lives and works today.
Over the years, her love for travel led her to an engaging career in the private yachting Industry; where she was a massage therapist in international waters for over 4 yrs.

Heeding the call to increase her knowledge, she found herself back in San Diego at Mueller College of Holistic Studies immersed in intensive and advanced body work research, with a particular emphasis on women’s health issues, hospital rehabilitation massage, pre-/ peri-/ and post-natal body care, neuromuscular trigger point therapy, passive stretching, Tui Na, & Acupressure.

Two years and 2000 hrs. of accredited course study later, Amanda attained her Holistic Health Practitioners license.

In addition to being a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist through NCBTMB, Amanda is also a trained Labor Doula through Doula’s of North America (DONA).

Amanda’s life is a testament to her belief that the true path towards healing is an enlightened approach incorporating the best of ancient eastern traditions, as well as useful modern western methods; together creating balance and transformation of body, mind and spirit.
